What Is Young Farmers?

A Young Farmers Club (YFC) is a group of people who meet in rural areas, usually weekly. Abingdon YFC is one of eleven clubs in Oxfordshire and forms part of a 22,000 member organisation Nationwide.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A FARMER TO BE A YOUNG FARMER!!!

A typical year for an Abingdon Young
Farmer member includes sports, outings, interesting talks and demonstrations,
travel, disco's...you name it, we do it!

Socialising

Becoming a member enables you to apply to travel the world through the Discovery Programme...

Both local and National charities are able to gain from the events undertaken by YFC...

As part of the club and county programme you will be able to learn many new skills, should you wish. These may well include Public Speaking, Jive Dancing or even Clay Shooting...
Personal Development
You will be able to learn to organise the club social events, programme, accounts - or even go to national training days to enhance your personal development...
